             Gutter controls rain water collected by a roof system.

Gutters are needed when water coming off of a roof is causing a problem. Here are a few of the problems uncontrolled rainwater can cause:

                              DOWNSPOUTS:
 
   Downspouts carry the water from the gutter to the ground where it may be controlled for proper runoff. Thickness for downspouts very depending on the material, size and usage.

CONDUCTOR HEAD:

A water collection box made of aluminum, copper or galvanized steel used as a decorative addition at the top of a downspout or more often where a scupper drain comes out of a roof parapet wall or where water is draining out of a valley where there will be no gutter.

ROOF DEVERTERS:

A prepainted piece of aluminum bent on the roof pitch with a 2" vertical lip that will divert water a short distance where gutter will not work. Roof diverters should not exceed 10 feet in length.

SPLASH BLOCKS:

A concrete trough that is placed under the elbow at the bottom of a downspout, which catches the water and directs it out away from the house.We also have pvc splash blocks.
